Dear TVNZ,
It’s great to see our government-owned national broadcasting company producing iOS applications.
The iPhone application is fine, the iPad application looks terrible. Both focus on news, TV listings and weather information.
The problem is I don’t really care about TVNZ’s news, TV listings or weather because I can get all that information in full, presented better from other applications.
But you have one huge thing that I would use a lot, that I can’t get from anywhere else which would be seriously awesome on the iPad and iPhone - TV on demand. TVNZ is after all about TV.
I’d love to see this app, not bundled with your other applications but as a seperate focused, polished application that just offers TV on demand and nothing more.

I have been playing with Rev2 for iPhone from Dev Toaster. Here’s our VW Polo accelerating to 35mph. The top line shows RPM while the bottom line shows MPH. Thanks to Tony for lending me the Kiwi Wifi hardware.
